Installing self-adhesive shingle underlayment

This was an old tile roof that had 1x12 decking, we added plywood over the 1x and tapered insulation to the flat roof

Tapered Iso Board cut to fit

It takes a bit of experience to make this fit as it should, It really gets the water off the roof.

Indialantic Re-Roof

This older home originally had a tile roof, 1x8 decking. The decking would have been a problem with the spaces between, knots, etc. We decided to redeck with 1/2" plywood over the existing. This one will last. Certainteed shingles, Flintlastic SA flat roof, good to go!

What a wreck! It is fulfilling when we get there it is leaking like a sieve, and no problems when we leave.

This roof had three roofs on it, the owner was getting repairs done every two years with little effect.

That nose of Quinn's got him in Trouble! last Thursday he was stung by wasps, bees, maybe just fire ants, but he had an allergic reaction, looked like a Shar-pei.

I was up with him two nights in a row, thought he was not gonna make it.

Between the antihistamines, cortisone, antibiotics, and popsicles. he is Back!

Why is it that so many chimneys leak on tile roofs? answer- the roofers that did the flashing originally had no idea how to do it, sure the tile is easy, the flashing takes some knowledge and forethought

the job was covered by overhanging Oaks, we had a radio on when the news came, I happened to have a tiny TV (2"x3") that ran on AA batteries

We never said much, it was a surreal day

I looked for those pictures in our file, but none on the computer, how dependent we become

We had a call from a previous customer on Tuesday after about 2 inches of rain, our customer had his new roof installed in December, and he noticed a couple of stains in the garage ceiling. After investigating, the stains were from the Old roof, he was happy it wasn't active.

We were getting ready to leave, he shook my hand and told me how well everything worked for him. He saved $2000 a year in homeowners insurance for the Wind Mitigation we supplied, he recievec a $700 tax credit for Energy Star products, and his A/C bills were reduced significantly from the tapered Insulation on the flat roof and Energy Star shingles
